Newly refurbished houseplant area at Longacres site.

Using interior displays to help Longacres put their stamp on new site Bybrook Barn Garden Centre

In July of this year Longacres completed the purchase of Bybrook Barn Garden Centre, based in Ashford. Having previously been one of the country’s leading garden centres, Longacres see a bright future for Bybrook Barn and are working proactively to restore the centre to its former status including complete refurbishment of the houseplant area.

They’ve begun this task by replacing old fixtures and fittings with staple units to put the Longacres stamp on Bybrook. Stagecraft were the obvious choice for this project having worked with Longacres for over 6 years. During this time Stagecraft have gained a deep understanding of the brand and have created displays iconic to their centres.

The area in most need of attention was the houseplant area which was particularly dated and in desperate need of refurbishment in preparation for the festive season. Our designers chose multi-level indoor house plant tables which, when dressed, transform merchandise displays into eye-catching features aimed to enhance customer engagement at point of sale. This is particularly effective when working with colourful, stand out products like plants. The display tables were further enhanced by surrounding with wall units, to create additional merchandising space and defined departments.

As this time of year is particularly busy, Stagecraft provided Longacres with an out of hours installation service. Seamless production service coupled with evening installation enabled Stagecraft to meet their timeline and avoid disruption during trading hours.

The results and feedback received from this project have been fantastic. Longacres are now one step closer to transforming Bybrook Barn into the leading garden centre it once was.
