Retail display systems go mobile in 2016
Retail display systems capable of being easily moved around shopfloors and retail centres for different campaigns and seasons will make a big impact in 2016, according to Mark Williams, Business Development Manager for Stagecraft.
The Powys-based company, which has 30 years experience one of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of retail display systems, shop fittings and garden furniture, has released details of its latest range of timber-based display products it says will provide retailers with the freedom and capability to change displays quickly and easily, increasing sales opportunities in the process.
“Retailers want and need to be adaptive in their approach to customers to encourage them to spend and to also return to the store. By creating retail merchandise displays and shop fittings with a range of uses and with easy mobility, it means retailers can enhance and adapt sales opportunities as and when they need to,” said Mark.
“Static display systems will remain and will always be part of the retail display mix, but our sales and design team have developed concepts that we are now launching to customers with the ability to be more mobile.
“They are part of a wider range that sits within our existing and competitive quality timber-based display systems and we believe it’ll make an impact on the retail market.”
The new indoor and outdoor products include a:
- Trolley-style display with three crate shelves capable of being easily moved around a shopfloor and adaptable for food and non-food products.
- Wheelbarrow-style display with impact, capable of holding a range of goods;
- Market stall type display.
- Horse-drawn waggon-style display.
- Cable drum-style display that creates a table on its side.
“The new products are part of a much wider range we’ll be introducing this year using the quality materials we’re best known for while increasing our competitiveness to the small and medium-sized retailers, as well as the larger blue chip companies,” added Mark.
“We’ve already had a good response to the product designs and we’re currently embarking on the manufacture of the first to hit the shops, garden centres and retail outlets in the UK.”
The new products come as Stagecraft launches it new website at www.stagecraft-uk.com to demonstrate its ability to tailor systems for retailers of all sizes and types.
Last year it completed work for John Lewis, Waitrose and Wyevale, as well as independents and family owned and run enterprises.
