Stagecraft Display Ltd Supports Local Entrepreneurs

Established Powys business, Stagecraft Display Ltd, has supported Newtown’s budding entrepreneurs by donating quality display fixtures to a Pop-up Shop on Market Street.

The new initiative being launched by Newtown Town Council, aims to support new business ideas by providing a low cost, low risk, retail opportunity to test out products with Newtown customers.

Staff met with the Newtown Mayor, Rina Clarke, on Thursday at its new 32,000 square foot factory, to handover the retail display units to the Town Council.

Stagecraft Display Ltd is the UK market leader for the supply and fit-out of display equipment for garden centres such as the Garden Centre Group, Dobbies and Notcutts. Over the last couple of years it has secured a growing foothold in the general retail sector including clients such as Next, John Lewis and Waitrose.

“Stagecraft started out on a Mid Wales farm 3 decades ago. It now employs more than 25 local people. We’re delighted to be part of this initiative project and wish the businesses involved every success for the future.” said Andrew Evans, Commercial Manager from Stagecraft Display Ltd.
