Business Development Manager / Sales Executive

Stagecraft Display Ltd is a leading manufacturer of specialist retail displays for the garden centre industry and the wider retail sector. In addition, we also offer a wide range of manufacturing services including CNC Routing, Timber Frame Panel manufacturing and Modular Building assembly for the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business sectors matching the company’s products and services to new sectors and industries.
  • Identify and target new clients within our existing business sectors.
  • Act as the point of contact for projects through from customer enquiry to order completion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and managing expectations
  • Visit new and existing customers to conduct meetings, presentations and carry out site surveys.
  • Meet sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis creating sales reports and forecasts.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience in B2B Sales converting inbound sales enquiries into orders
  • Experience in successfully acquiring and managing new customers.
  • A strong network of contacts within a relevant industry
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Experience of working in outbound sales/customer acquisition and account management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office etc)
  • Excellent time management for planning, maintaining records and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple customer inquiries and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record of dealing with customers and managing expectation
  • Adaptable to the needs of the business including occasional nights away, travel and irregular work hours
  • Driving Licence

Job Classification:  Full-time

Location: Head Office (Newtown, Powys, SY16 1DZ) / Hybrid

CNC Operator

We are looking to recruit additional CNC Operatives at our factory in Newtown, Powys to assist with manufacturing timber-based products including Retail Display equipment.

Essential skills include –

  • Experience operating a CNC router
  • Manual dexterity
  • Working with tools and power tools
  • Working to deadlines
  • The ability to follow instructions
  • Working alone or as part of a team
  • Good verbal communication.

Experience within a manufacturing environment and carpentry experience would be beneficial along with knowledge of H&S.

The position is initially temporary but could lead to a full-time position based on the workload and the candidate’s suitability.

Work Schedule: 6:45am-5pm Monday – Thursday (39 Hours a week)

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: £11 p/h

Holidays: 28 Days
